Elk - Yellowstone - also near our cabin

I think that Elk are probably one of the most beautiful animals. I loved Yellowstone, because the wildlife lived among us, or probably the other way around. On the way into the park, we saw a bear and her cub. And the first night we were walking to the campground and passed about 10 elk. It was dark, so we didn't see them at first. Matt said he thought that from a distance they looked like people sitting at picnic benches. They were so peaceful and harmless, but big - actually I guess they are unpredictable so you are supposed to keep a distance from them. Beautiful!!
