Mommy reading to Brady

Brady loves when I read to him. His favorite book is "Pajama Time!" by Sandra Boynton. Reading doesn't calm him down, though. It just gets him excited. Not good right before bed. (Don't mind my hair, I just took a shower).

Here we still are. I know he has devil eyes here, but I love the way his hand is resting on mine. So typical.

Brady wants to move!

Brady just rolled from his back to his belly. I think this was his first time. (Rolling from belly to back is old news).

He is also trying to crawl. He hasn't managed it yet, but it's coming soon. Lord help me! ha ha.

Bath time!

Brady loves bath time. He gets to smile at that cute kid in the mirror.

I just want to mention that we can make the bathroom warm for Brady. The owners before us installed heat lights in the ceiling. NICE!

Still loving the Exersaucer

15 weeks

Today Brady weighs 14 lbs, 11 oz, and is 25 1/4" long. (at birth, he was 8 lbs, 9 oz and 20" long)

Christmas Pictures. FAIL.

I still have yet to take a nice Christmas picture. 

Now that his new Christmas sweater has been purchased...

maybe that will be the one.

Nap Time

For the last couple of days, Brady has been sleeping 3 hours at a time. This is a huge improvement from the last 2 weeks, when he has been up every hour. He's a growing, hungry boy.


Here are Sushi and Brady. Brady sleeps in my bed sometime between 8 and noon, after Matt goes to work - when mommy needs a little more sleep time.

Brady's First Hotel Stay

The three of us went to Columbus this weekend. Matt had a Union meeting and I spent some time with my good friend Catherine (She goes to Ohio State, by the way). Brady and Catherine hit it off. She's good people...open-minded, intelligent conversation. She's also hilarious.

I only took pictures of Brady in the hotel room. So here they are.

Before his meeting, Matt brought me a fruit plate to eat in the room. How thoughtful! While I ate, Brady watched and smiled. What a perfect morning.
